Writing in a variety of forms and styles from love letter to poem to essay, Jollin is sill experimenting with poetry and nonfiction, and all the shades that run between. She has performed her poetry at multiple events, including Spoke and Bird and Speakeasy. Her poetry is written for page and sound and more recently digital media.

Jollin’s artistic practice is taking root and shape consistently; she is interested in how digital forms and moving images allow us to re-shape text and its effect. She is interested in art that evokes the kind of feeling that sometimes exists before language, an in particular writes about the act of documenting personal memory, and one’s relationship with their physical body.

Her first two poetry collections, Bursting Seams and Derivative Faith, are published by Math Paper Press and take on conversations surrounding body image and faith.

Further to that, Jollin’s work can be found in anthologies such as Body Boundaries, SingPoWriMo The Anthology, Balik Kampung 3B: Some East, More West, and Epigram Books Collection of Best New Singaporean Short Stories V.3. Her poetry has also been curated for Prairie Schooner and Singapore Writer’s Festival, and she has moderated and spoken on various panels at Singapore Writer’s Festival, ranging from topics about social media and romance novels to spoken poetry readings.
